Just bought the program yesterday.
I want to create web access.
When i click on on Web sharing status, the screen seems to hang. I can’t set web sharing folder. Any idea how to resolve the problem.

Ignore my last post.

Perhaps it is indicated somewhere in the help, but I discovered that if the notes are encoded in UTF-8, there is not a problem with their transmission via zip files. All the notes are uploaded properly. The names sometimes are malformed (accent characters), but this is not a major problem.

The browser must be set to UTF-8 to upload files w/o crashing the app.

I just bought ver 2.2.3. I like it very much, but have some problems.

I am a French speaker and have some notes in French on my computer. I put them in a .zip file and tried to upload them.

At first the app crashed, but I found out that if I don’t have accented characters in the filename, it uploads and seems to extract all the individual notes. However, although all the names of the notes exist, they are all empty!?!

Is there a workaround for this?

This blog is not meant for discussing support issues. Please email us for support at iconicnotes@hoofien.com. Do you have the latest version 2.2.2 of Iconic Notes installed? And it would help if you can write a precise sequence of instructions to enable us to reproduce the problem.

I am having a problem with checked lists. After creating notes with checked lists the check marks are mysteriously and sporadically changed. So items that have been checked are now unchecked and vice versa. Please tell me I’m not going crazy…this is a little dangerous for me!

Feature request: I would like the option, when check boxes are turned on, to configure checked items to be placed at the end of the list. Second feature request: to have an outline option with points and sub-points (indented). Thanks and keep up the good work!
