Icon Memos

Saturday, January 31st, 2009

Icon Memos is a free application that offers a small part of the functionality offered in Iconic Notes. We created it to allow people who are not interested in purchasing Iconic Notes to experience the Iconic Hierarchical Filesystem as a way of managing a system of short memos of a few lines of text each, and to let people who are considering buying Iconic Notes try out the idea and decide if Iconic Notes is right for them.

For more details on Icon Memos see the app page on App Store.

Iconic Notes 1.3 is out – Please comment

Monday, January 5th, 2009

Version 1.3 has been out for a few of days, and to judge by the increase in sales and email feedback we are getting, it is a very nice improvement to the app and users are very pleased. Your feedback is helpful as always and helps us improve, so please write it here. We also wanted to tell you we are still working to add more improvements (but please be patient, it takes time to write great code and we are also working on other projects). Some things on our todo list: Replace the app icon (any good graphics designers out there? We will pay for a nice icon, send us your ideas and sketches if you have any); Add more note icons; A lists mode for note editing for easy writing of bullet lists, numbered lists and check lists; Ability to send a note as SMS. In the more distant future, maybe: A search feature and better sync capabilities. And who knows, maybe we will even try to climb that Mount Everest of notes apps: Copy and Paste :-)
